We all have heard about that benefits of oil massage for hair. It helps into providing nutrition to the hair and make them stronger. It also helps in reducing stress. In this blog, I am going to tell you all about different types of oil which can be used for oil massage and their benefits. The type of oil that you use depends upon the purpose of applying it like using it for removing dandruff, to make them look shiner etc. The types of oil are-
Coconut oil - Coconut oil has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It contains fatty acids which provide nutrition to the hair.
Olive oil - Besides providing nutrition to the head, it also helps in their growth. It contains vitamin E, antioxidants and folic acid which make them strong
Neem oil - this oil works the best for the treatment of dandruff. The problem of lice can also be treated with neem oil.
Bhringraj oil- it is an ayurvedic oil. Is the beans antioxidants mainly flavonoid which helps in removing the harmful elements from the body. Using Bhringraj oil helps in reducing hair fall.
Nilgiri oil- It is considered very effective for hair. It contains antibacterial properties which keep the bacteria away from hair and provide shine. It also reduces the problem of hair fall.
Castor oil- Castor oil contains vitamin, protein and antimicrobials which protect hair from many different types of scalp related problems. We love to make different hairstyles and using excess of shampoo also cause the problem of split hair and make it rough. The nutrient elements in castor oil make the hair strong and prevent their splitting.
