THE DIVINE FURY is a 2019 South Korean horror movie written and directed by Kim Joo-hwan , staring Park Seo-joon , Ahn Sung-ki AND Woo Do-hwan. The film was released on July 31,2019.
After loosing his father, Yong Hoo( Park Seo-joon) looses his belief in God. Twenty years later, he channels that ranged into his martial arts and become the grim reaper champion who never faced defeat. but once in the battle field , seeing God's tattoo on his opponents back, he starts hearing a voice in his head, asking for "revenge" .After winning that battle , on his way back, his receives a divine scar on his right hand resembling the sacred mark of Christ. Later on the scars gets opened up at nights after being attacked by the demons .Since doctors couldn't find a justify why its happening, he approaches a priest Father Ahn (Ahn Sung-ki) who performs exorcism, helps him to find the real reason why he's been granted the scared of Christ even being a non believer. Being tempted by the demons a plenty of times , Yong Hoo finds his way back to light with the help of his father who appears to his in his dreams to provide him strength whenever he felt like failing. Yong Hoo gets attached to Father Ahn who resembles like his father and stays beside his while performing exorcism. The sacred wound of his right hand helps him demolish demons from humans. When Father Ahn gets captured by the dark bishop Yong Hoo risks everything to fight him. he holds close the cross given by the father and fights the dark. When he was on the wedge of failure, his father appears to him in his mind and strengths him to fight the dark. He awakes and verges it all out to save Father Ahn .He won the battle against the dark and found his belief in GOD.
Honestly this movie is incredibly directed with a wonderful script and 10/10 effects. The reason why i loved this movie so much in particular is because of the storyline. The variations of the portrait from a non believer to a believer and finding his path was so heart warming and exquisite to watch.
