Living Life With Jesus Christ

My hope is YOU alone.

Safe to say that I fell in love with this phrase the very first time I listened to "Even If" by MercyMe. Through the course of 2020-2021, I witnessed Christ breaking my chains, opening doors when I thought I faced dead ends, strengthen and deepened friendships, ending my fear & anxiety by giving me amazing friends who I haven't met yet but completely love, calming my anxiety about so many things, give fruits for my perseverance. All because of His mercy and faithfulness, and my hope in Christ.💕

Walking with God every day is challenging, right up to this moment. But then again, it was never meant to be an easy road, because we were born sinners.

The world has its own ways of misdirection, distraction, disguised attraction, and shadowed beauty. This life we're called to lead with Christ is defined based on the strength derived from our faith to overcome these traps, if I may. This rat race was never called for nor is it required. But somewhere down the line, we have all been made to believe that we can never pause to do anything in life but run towards a temporary place of earthly victory. That is exactly where Jesus puts His foot down - without a walk with Him, without leading a life of love inspired by His love that shone on Calvary, it is impossible to achieve a place of earthly victory that will shower you with true joy, love, peace, and kindness.

Now, I agree that walking this life with Christ is definitely not the easiest. It is a road, a lifetime rather, filled with hurdles and forces that will pull us down, derail us and take us far away from God. Some are capable of identifying this and do everything to get back on their walk with Christ. But, some would rather stay with the world willingly or unwillingly. God will send a saving hand for them to get out of this, but will you recognize this and accept His help is where the power of free will decides your life. It is a double-edged sword.

I hope for you that you don't exploit the free will that God has blessed you with, but rather follow Him and use your free will wisely that the world will one day be astonished to see the heights you achieve in life. You may be hurting today, but that is not going to last. Keep clinging onto God, have faith, and may your hope forever be in Him!

So, first, my hope is in Christ alone.🌻

Jesus loves you! God bless you!
