Hello there!!

I again came up with another series based on a novel. This is a comedy drama series based on a graphic novel of the same name written by Charles forman. It has only 1 season with 7 episode . The running time of every episode is 25 min. It has an IMDb rating of 7.5 and is available on Netflix platform. Before I have mentioned about THE END OF THE F***ING WORLD based on Charles forman comic book. 

This series starts with a girl named as Sydney who is a school girl and has only one best friend dina. She also lives in a society where there no one around except Stanley. 

Her mother take care of the two child as Sydney's father commited suicide in the basement an year ago. She has that rage in her mind and always blame herself for her  father's death. 

She always feels alone as she has no one to talk with . Later her friend dina starts dating and now she has no time for Sydney and this make her more upset that her childhood friend is no longer around her in her time of need. We all can relate to this as we have faced this same scenario once in our life. 

Then one day she gets an invitation from Stanley for a house party. Let me first describe this character Stanley. He is a teenage boy,  lover of music, his father is a truck driver and is in town only in every 6 month. He has a job to take care of and is a school dropout. 

So being alone Sydney has no choice but to accept the invitation as this is the only time for her to have fun.

Later both spend there night together doing some wierd stuff. Later on , Stanley confess  about his feeling for her.

Now with this ongoing thing Sydney discovered something wierd in her that when she is angry she can make thing fall or break or throw with her power.

At first she was very uncomfortable with this, but later she become aware of her power but still a rookie when it comes to handel the power.

We can see this in some of the scene where she make Brad bleed, messes up a supermarket. 

Later in this series she was invited In the school prom night. When she see her best friend with another boy who is always making fun of Sydney , she become so angry and In that moment of heat she uses her power so badly that it ends up exploding Brad head, and that is the most badass scene of the whole series. 

Then she ran off to a cliff where in the grief she used her power to uproot the big trees and again one of the badass scenes .

 Later Stanley comes to the point and holds her and give her a shoulder to cry. 

And here the series ends. 

This series beautifully portrays a scenario in a person life who has no one and is alone for no reasons . This is for the same reason is highly relatable series.
