Falling down is not something very new to me. I fell at the age of 1 and when I stood up, I started walking. Again, I fell at the age of 4 and when I stood up, I started riding a bicycle. Then I fell at the age of 7 when I stood up, I started running on skates. I fell at the age of 15 and when I stood up, I became a woman of grace. Again I fell hard at the age of 19 and when I stood up, I became a girl who is mentally and emotionally strong. I fell at the age of 21 and when I stood up, I became the daughter of a single parent. And when I fell at the age of 24, I stood up as a MOTHER of a baby girl.
Life has never been smooth or never been a bed of roses. Every time it threw us hard, we get up even harder than ever. It made me understand that life is not a circle or roller coaster to go up and down and up and again. Life is a mad angle. It hits a particular point and turns to the direction you never know existed. Embrace it. Every time I embraced my falls, I became stronger than I thought I was.
When you learn to embrace your faults and falls, you understand what you are capable of. And when you learn what you are capable of, you understand your worth.
It is okay to fall again and again when you are ready to get up. What is not okay is, not to get up after any number of falls or not trying to get up. Life gives you chills, it knocks you down, every then and there. It pushes you down and tries keeping you down. But that is what life is. It takes the breath out of you. And when you are about to give up, it shows a ray of light flickering at a very long distance. So you run
Just remember when life throws limes at you, need to crush it, squeeze it, shake it, mix it and make lemonade out of it. Just learn to rearrange those LIMES into SMILE.
