this step removes all the external dirt on our skin and makes it look fresh , but during nighttime our skin would produce some natural oils to calm and rest our skin and it is not good to use a harsh cleanser first thing in the morning . so I would recommend using a gentle facewash.
Toning is an optional step but it helps absorbs our other products, balances skin PH value, minimizes pores and also calms our skin. I personally don't like using store bought toners and I make it at home .here is the link for my blog where I shared on how to make toners at home.
Moisturization locks the natural oils on our face and helps our skin to repair in its own way . so never skip a moisturizer. if your moisturizer feels greasy change the moisturizer that you are using but never skip it!
SUNSCREEN IS A MUST ! . if a teenager asks me to recommend a skincare product , I would tell them to go buy a sunscreen .sunscreen prevents aging , protects skin from sun and skin cancer. I use sunscreen everyday even if I'm staying at home and I've seen a lot of difference on my skin .if I'm staying outside I will apply sunscreen every three hours. if you don't trust me see this image
For mornings I would use SPF lipbalm because our lips also needs protection . SPF lipbalm prevents darkening of lips and dry and chapped lips. lipbalm is the only thing that we are doing to our lips so make sure to reapply.
FOR ALL SKIN TYPES : use a gentle cleanser .
FOR DRY AND NORMAL SKIN : use hydrating toner
FOR OILY AND COMBINATION SKIN : use gentle toners
FOR DRY AND NORMAL SKIN: use cream based moisturizer.
FOR OILY AND COMBINATION SKIN: use gel based moisturizer.
FOR DRY AND NORMAL SKIN : cream based sunscreen with SPF 30-50 .
FOR OILY AND COMBINATION SKIN: gel based sunscreen with SPF 30-50 ( It will be good if it is non comedogenic sunscreen )
