“How can you have a war on terrorism when war itself is terrorism?”…
One of the most talked about issues in the world today is ‘Terrorism’. Terrorism is the systematic use of violence, which aims to create fear and panic amongst people. It happens to attain financial, religious, ideological or political objectives.
One such terror attack in world is the ‘The Russo-Ukrainian War’. This war is an on-going war between Russia and Ukraine which began in February 2014 but the conflict expanded significantly when Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022. The point to be discussed is the:-
So Yes, The reason for war in simple words is to have control over Eastern Ukraine. I mean 70% of Ukraine wasn't enough? why?. So, The reason for such great war was “GREED”, just the greed to have more took the lives of numerous people irrespective of age, gender, race, etc.
Coming to the next major point : I would say “Those Who Want War, Never Fought. Those Who Fought Never Wanted War”.
And I guess you can understand what I mean!.
The People there lost lives, shelter, food and belongings. The war also effected Ukraine economically and I believe that this war will undoubtedly bring with the catastrophic suffering and health consequences for the civilian population.
The People of India suffered a lot as they were unable to come to their own places due to this war. As the conflict broke out, Sensex crashed by 2700 points due to panic selling, nervousness amongst the investors leading to Rs. 7.5 lakh crore being wiped off from the stock market. The Russian stock market nosedived by 50% which in turn had a significant impact on all the Asian stock markets. The conflict also triggered the gold & crude oil prices which were almost at their highest. And India has limited connects related to banking & corporate sector.
Also, Indian economy have been majorly effected as it lead to increase crude oil prices. The war has also resulted in disrupting India's edible oil market as our country imports more than 90% of its sunflower oil from Russia and Ukraine. India may not have a significant merchandise trade with Russia anymore.
In the end, I would Conclude saying :-
All this wars and terror are just due to ‘LACK OF HUMANITY’.
I See Humans, but no HUMANITY.
