Self-care is not as easy as it sounds. With the fast pace of life we ​​almost forget the importance of self-care. We should take care of our mental, physical, and emotional health instead of depending on others. In simple words self-care is a wholesome relationship with yourself. By taking care of yourself, you can be the best version of yourself and perform better in the activities of your daily living and maintain healthy relationships with others. You can beat all kinds of health problems, just know your worth. Caring about yourself is not selfish, take out the negativity and just merge into the ocean of self care, it will bring you an inner confidence and peace apart from keeping you healthy.

How to take care of yourself ?

Take care of your physical health first. Body and mind have a special relationship. It will heal you spiritually. How is it possible to perform better in your day to day activities if you are not physically fit. You should adapt some exercise and yoga as you please. It will keep your body and mind fresh and help you perform better in your daily life activities.

Eat healthy: A healthy diet is an important part of self care. Include wholesome and nutritious food in your meals, have your meals on time. Don't forget to drink plenty of water, it will keep you healthy and hydrated.

Get enough sleep, maintain your bedtime schedule. Adult need almost 7-8 hours of good quality sleep with a proper schedule or bed timings. It will improve your mood and reduce your stress and lowers down the risk of several serious health problems. Leads to thinking and performing better in activities of your daily living.

Indulge in relaxing activities. Yoga, meditation, dancing, gardening, writing, reading, can be some. It will relax and calm your mind and soul.

Exhale the toxicity inside you, whether it's in the form of jealousy, hatred or anything else. Take a positive attitude and try to see things in a positive way.

Spend time with your loved ones. It will bring a positivity in your life. It will lower down your behavioural issues, reduces stress and promotes adaptability and resilience.

Always try to help someone, it brings inner peace. This will make you feel generous, motivated, empowered and fullfiled, makes you to see things with a different and positive perspective, gives your life a purpose.

Take care of yourself and stay alive, inside out.
