Help The Grieving World

JUST BE THERE!!!!!!

As I see the world around me. Everyone, everything is grieving. I can feel sadness in the air. Some lost their pregnant wives, some lost their month old kid, some lost both their parents, some lost soul earning members of their families, brothers, sisters, friends, even whole families.

This is not one news, its happening in every other neighborhood, People died due to lack of facilities, while their loving ones were juggling between the hospitals in search of medical attention. People were not even able to say their last goodbyes. All they have is ashes of their person in their hands. Its just too much. 

And now they are dealing with the very painful GRIEVING process, pain is just too much. No, right words were ever invented in history of mankind to explain the pain people are bearing in their daily lives of losing someone very precious.

But, We have always told and very hard to understand that DEATH IS THE ONLY TRUTH. “Om Shanti”  

We need to get up, find the purpose of our lives again. have to move forward. We need to process our grief our pain in a right kind of way. It should not harm us, it should make us stronger, it should make us humble, overall a better human being.

Here, I am sharing some things I observed from last year people are doing to make each other feel better.

  • LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN: Listen to them, without any interruption. There is nothing in the world you could say to make that person alive. So, keeps your advice and judgement to  yourself.
  • MONITOR: Monitor there routine, whether there are sleeping enough, or are they eating right or not, cleaning and are in good hygiene or not.
  • OFFER: Offer them a nice meal or a dessert, your help in doing a tedious job or doing laundry, a long drive, groceries, fresh fruit and veggies.
  • ENCOURAGE: Encourage them to have a nice walk, get up and do something they love, self care, to move forward, build their confidence, to smile, accept.  

JUST STAND BY THEM, HOLD THERE HAND A LITTLE TIGHTER, HUG THEM BACK A LITTLE TIGHTER, BE THERE WITH A DRY TISSUE SILENTLY EVERY TIME A TEAR COMES OUT OF THEIR EYE, GIVE THEM A SHOULDER TO CALM DOWN A BIT.
