Men who are thinking that this is a topic related to women and there is nothing to do with this, you are wrong. There is absolute necessary for men to know about it. Periods should be normalized because it is a natural process which every girl goes through and there is nothing wrong about it. But it is really sad that even women do not understand this basic thing and still believe in stereotypes.

In olden days, girls are kept separate from other members of family for those five days and they used clothes instead of pads. They were considered as impure for those 5 days and they believed that the impure blood would come out in the form of menstruation. But in reality it is not the impure blood, it's just the extra layer of blood which your body would require during the pregnancy, if you are not pregnant then the layer would tear off.

The reason why i said that men should know about periods is because many of you hesitate when women talk about this thing, think it a girly thing and you have nothing to do with it. There is no such thing to feel shy about. It is necessary for you to talk about it with your sister and mother who would never tell you how much pain they feel during those days. You should be able to ask them freely and help them out during those time.

Because of the stereotypes, women still do not dare to talk about it and that is the reason women in some parts of India still use clothes instead of pads and due to these stupid myths, the used clothes are never dried in the sunlight and hidden. This unhygienic way would lead to serious health issues and even death. Talking about periods would give the women chance to know how harmful the practices are and what can they do to make their lives better and simpler.

Pads should not be covered while buying, they are not drugs, they are the necessity of every girl. Covering the pads and hiding them from men is absolutely a stupid thing to do. One should understand there is nothing wrong to feel shy about pads or periods. Hiding them would lead to even more damage, people would never understand the importance of hygiene and would use clothes. 

This is the reason even men should start talking about periods normally, By this you could be ale to educate your mother or sister and take care of them. LET'S TALK ABOUT PERIODS NORMALLY.
