One of my favorite cartoon series in my childhood. It is my all time favorite and to the extent I make my daughter to watch. It is such a interesting and unique story.  It is based on the Rudyard Kipling book of the same name.  Rudyard Kipling wrote the Jungle Book in 1894. many people think it is a imaginary animated story but its not true. The jungle book is an inspired story from true incident. Reality is more scary and unimaginable. It is adaption from a true story which happened in India, Madhya pardesh which many of us don’t know. Back in 1867 a group of hunters stumbled upon a mysterious cave in hills of Bulandshahr India. They found totally unexpected inside a boy right next to a pack of wolves worried about his safety. They brought him back to the civilization and placed him in an  Sikandra Mission  orphanage.  He was given the name sanichar.

Here the heart breaking part despite everyone’s efforts the boy couldn’t speak. He only makes roaring sounds and he lived a unique life walking on all four arms. He showed signs of malnutrition and malnourishment. They gave him some food but he wouldn't take a bite. He eats only raw meat. Although Sanichar was able to walk on his two legs at last, he still found it difficult to wear clothes. Despite his lack of human qualities, he managed to make a human friend at the orphanage. It seems that there was another wild child at the orphanage who had also been raised by animals. Because both boys had grown up in the wild, they found it difficult to relate to people, which is probably why they formed this unique bond with each other. Father Erhardt said that there was a special sympathy between the two boys, and the older one taught the younger one to drink from a cup. Smoking was one of the few human activities that Sanichar incorporated into his life. Many believe that it was smoking that caused him to develop tuberculosis. Dina's development was unusual overall; he was barely five feet tall, had enormous teeth, a low brow, and was extremely jittery and nervous even after ten years of living among humans. He must have felt like a bewildered alien who had been forcibly removed from his own home after having spent the majority of his life with wolves.

He passed away at just 34 years old due to tuberculosis. In reality it is a sad story but, the book  was well written with more interesting. Kipling has painted him as a gentle child, not the abominable man he was.

The book is about the adventures of mowgli a human boy. Adventures take place in a forest. The imaginary story starts like a baby boy raised by Akela's wolf pack, fatherly bear Baloo, playful panther Bagheera and with his friends. They all live in a Indian jungle with no human surrounding. Hence mowgli learnt to lead life as animal do and learnt animal language, signs and many others. They all live happily.
