So hi welcome to my new blog in this blog I am going to discuss the law, the Indian court recently passed about sex workers and prostitution.

Recently a three bench judge of the supreme court passed a law that Prostitution In India is accepted by law and safe practice in India which I think is good because it will help a lot of things with making control them and by means, the rape cases will be lowered and eventually making India a safe country for women.

Three things the bench of the court told ;

1. Prostitution is a profession and sex workers are entitled to dignity and equal protection under the law.
2. If it's seen a sex worker is an adult and participating with their own consent, the police must not interfere with any criminal action or law.
3. according to article 21, the sex workers can work of their own will and will live with dignity no one has the right to arrest them as they come under the law, and only they will be arrested if found guilty.

After making and accepting this law I think that the rape cases will be lowered in India as people at young age people will find it easier to have their fantasies come true. Those people who feel uncomfortable and uneasy ago will have some courage to practice this. The real reason to not go to brothels is due to police raids and police intentionally made the customers suffer so they choose to rape. Still, rape is done in India but many reports have not been made to the police.

The Supreme court hence directed the Union Government to respond to the other recommendation made by the Panel within a period of six weeks.

Further if a minor was found living in the brothel or with sex workers, it should not be thought that the child was trafficked hence can be it in of the child of the workers there as they need to be checked for confirmation.

This law is like a good sign to wait for the Indian citizen that will help the workers to boost their business.
