People who came to the cinema couldn’t bring themselves to buy the large popcorn for $7 because it was too expensive, and would instead opt for the small popcorn at $3 when those were the only 2 options. However, When a decoy “middle popcorn” was introduced at $6.50, more sales.
I hate having to call for pricing.
If you're so expensive that you're ashamed to have the number on your website then maybe you're a greedy.
Why is movie popcorn so expensive?
Moviemaking is always somewhat of a gamble.
The opposite of fun, unfortunately. Personal care facility for people who can't afford it.
this is definitely "tasting stuff as an expensive hobby" moreso than "eating", this stuff probably tastes otherworldly and the appearance strikes curiosity but this is still funny as a concept
People who love AMC = people who love being diluted and are bullish on selling overpriced popcorn in stores and delivery, failing gold mine companies and expensive Nicole Kidman ads.
I legit have been holding GME for so long and lost nothing but money. We have no room to talk my guy.
LOL..go educate yourself on what commodity hedging with ESG component mean.
Also go back to schhol and educate yourself on swaption. Thing that includs in WFC syndicated loan that GME took out.
You know that ESG's are just another way to bust out the companies Market Makers and Hedge Funds and other naked Short holding groups are trying to push so they can "socially" tank a company now. "See, look! They have a 74 Environmental score, they hate cats." Bam, dead company.
No I think it just means we like movies, popcorn & strive for a better market… your a Debbie Downer pal
Well there are much more expensive options if I want them, but for $20 on gameday I can have 2 beers, a soda, a few hot dogs, some popcorn, and have money left over.
If you ever find yourself in Atlanta on a gameday, come check the place out. I got a ticket for you
At my club, Atlanta United, we average 52k per game. But league wide the avg per game is around 22k. Atlanta, Seattle draw big crowds. Most other teams are around 15-25k
A bit different here.
Our stadium has 3 levels
Depending on our opponent the 3rd level is open or closed.
When closed, attendance is 42.5k
When open, it's 72.5k
The photo I posted above was a full house day.
This is when the 3rd deck is closed.
That's very reasonable, I have never seen a beer cost less than $15 at NHL and MLB events in either TX or CA.
To be fair, Mercedes Benz Stadium is very much the exception when it comes to food pricing in American Stadiums.
I haven't had the luxury of going to the Sofi stadium yet but imagine it's $30/beer!
Movie theaters may eject folks who bring in their own food or drinks, but there is a reason for that.
I have this for some time and it comes in handy to make popcorn. And if you can’t buy the packages that come with the Whirley pop because it will get expensive. 1/2 cup popcorn kernels and 3 tablespoons of olive oil or some type of oil that you like.
But how did popcorn first find its way into the movie theater?
I can also confirm that cutting open bags of microwave popcorn works just as well. Especially when you buy in bulk at winco for 38 cents a pouch.
But be careful because sometimes the popcorn butter that comes in those microwavable bags are not very healthy for you.
took me 6 months to get through AA(AMC anonymous).Expensive lesson.Too much BS. Not everything is a conspiracy.Buying a mine that might not produce for years without new processes for extraction was last straw .Free popcorn to HODL not thanks
but i find movie watching a bad way to spend time yk, i like it when we can talk. i usually refuse and even cancel our friend groups plan for movies in theatres.
you don’t have time to talk, you will have to focus on the screen n story after paying for it and expensive popcorn
woh bhi hai but its a nice thing too if its smn you meet like every two days, small parks are nice way to spend time too if talking and having fun w/ e/o is main thing
Only I don't buy the popcorn anymore because it's too expensive.
So, are you a popcorn buyer, or do you head straight for the screen empty-handed?
