Do you sometimes feel stuck on what topic to write on?

Do you want to have a mass of writing ideas, so that you can never run out of topics?

Your search ends here!

I have come up with 4 processes so as to never run out of content ideas.

First Process - Juggle Your Old Diary

Right! Search your old diaries or old articles. Recycle your own content to make it into a brand new story.

  • Any old impactful story, which you had remembered. It can be from a school book's story or a real-life story.
  • Recall any interesting things & stories, which you're being told by your grandparents.
  • Any old incident which taught you something or any teacher or any student or friend. It could be any blast from the past.
  • Incidents which not only happened to you but to your school or college friend.
  • The content can be picked up from your old published article in the school magazine.
  • Any life lessons & interesting stories from your childhood, school life, summer & winter vacations.
  • Memorable incidents from your school van travel, or train or bus travels.
  • Any satire, realistic or personal touch to that time scenarios.

If you dig deep into your own life, you would get plenty of writing ideas for your blogs.

Second Process - Snatch From Social Media

Yes! Social Media is not only for news & entertainment. Make your pen and paper ready for taking blog ideas from social media platforms.

You can catch writing ideas from below.

  • Stories of advertisements
  • Blog Posts of Reading Platforms
  • News articles & Newspapers
  • Podcasts & Radios
  • Books & Novels
  • Web series & Television
  • Magazines

Mould & make your own recipe from their articles, ads, songs, blogs, paragraphs & writings, audio discussions, etc.

Third Process - Bundle Up Nearby Stories

You heard stories & incidents every now and then from your close circle & society.

It’s time to collect up for your own personalized takeaways from those incidents. It can

You could write positive, negative, or neutral perspectives out of it.

You can elaborate on the life lessons taken, the back story to cover up & can also add your own spice to the story to your fictional article.

Best Said, “You’re never going to kill storytelling because it’s built-in the human plan. We come with it.”

Fourth Process - Ask Yourself Questions

Still not getting enough ideas, you can take help from the below questionnaire about yourself to brush up on the content topics

  1. What do I like to talk about when with friends?
  2. When surfing on the internet, what topics do I read?
  3. On what subjects people take advice from me?
  4. Which movie or web series interests me?
  5. When scrolling Facebook / Instagram, at which topics I stop & read?

Rightly Said – “ It is not the answer that enlightens, but the question”

                    .            .                .

Final Words

In the end, I would conclude that by doing this 4-step process, you would get plenty of ideas for your writing. Summarizing all

  1. Juggle your old diary!
  2. Snatch from Social Media
  3. Bundle Up Nearby Stories
  4. Ask Yourself Questions

All there is to writing is having ideas. To learn to write is to learn to have ideas.
