Hi friends, thanks for all the support in previous blogs. I am back with a new content. I hope most of the readers here would have watched atleast a single serial in life. The serial here is not the web series that we watch in hotstar, amazon, netflix or other OTT platforms. I am just mentioning about the daily soaps operas that are being telecasted in the TV channels. It may be any language, the content are almost similar. Once upon a time, there was a stage where the movies are dubbed into other languages. 

Before pandemic, TV serials were decent. But, now a days we could every channels using their actors to promote their serials. Whichever channel we change we could see the same faces of serial actors in other programs. Previously, if we missed a episode in serial, we would be eager to know what might have happened on that day's episode, but currently we dont have to be eager as the episode can be easily predicted by the promos that are made. Promos should encourage us to watch the episode, but now a days promos are looking great, as if something interesting is going to happen.

But, when we see this episode, it is very simple and nothing has happened. The serials are mostly interested in promoting the brands. The audience are mostly bothered about the dresses the lead actors wear, the style they maintain and lot more things. The audience are not even bothered about the story and the acting of actors. The actors are unable to show normal facial expressions, but still they are being celebrated. If a person who has a big beard, then he is a lead actor, in worst case he can become a supporting actor.

Ofcourse, they might be part of modelling industry, but still they will have some influence, they may be relative of a financier or son of some big shot, so they easily get into this industry without knowing proper acting. The most important part is even though a serial is nearing it's end, but the director and the TV channel want to extend the serial because of the TRP. They never bother about audience and audience are cheated easily, even though they feel that the serial is dragging, they still continue to watch their serials and the last and final point I want to mention is nowadays serials are lacking logics to a great extent.
