Some Ways To Calm Ourselves, When Life Is Going Tough

Hi friends, for the first time I am directly getting into the topic.

Walking is the first way to calm ourselves, it helps us to clear our mind and offers a different perspective. 

Indulge in something that you like, we might take a day off and do whatever we would love to do, eat whatever you want, watch movies and do some crazy things.

Be generous, give some gifts to an unknown person, this act will make us warm and we will feel fuzzy inside.

We can sit in a coffee shop or a crowded place and just absorb what and all is happening around the surroundings. It is not necessary, that we have to talk to people.

We need to educate ourselves on something new, we should increase our strength by improving our knowledge and look out for some of the resources that will help us in tackling the problems.

Always prepare a to do list, On the day before, write down all the things that needs to be completed.

We must jolt down our strengths in a paper or note, try to write atleast 20 of your strengths.

We should try to move forward, just start with small steps and being stagnant at a particular point, wont help us at all. If you are looking to start a new business, just list the down the steps to make it into a reality.

Get back to your olden days, if you have any hobbies try to do them, if not create a new hobby and engage yourself in that one.

Prioritize the important activities and avoid taking up extra obligations.

Sleep is the most important thing during this time, try to get enough rest and sleep atleast 7-9 hours each night.

Be silly and do something that you like to do as a child, just take it on a funny note and not serious one.

Cry is another good medicine, release all the emotions which will make you feel better.

Check your self talk and try to make it positive as negative self talk will not serve our purpose.

Develop the habit of reading journals, this will help us to free our mind.

Remind yourself of all the value that you have to offer. We are often good at something, that it becomes second nature. We wont recognize that it is something other people cannot do it easily. Recognize that value.
