Hi friends, am back with another episode of my life, this time on the pleasant experience that has happened during my visit to the police station. Our friends gang decided to make a trip and travel to Munnar, which is Kerala state. We took a car for rent and began the journey, few of our friends can drive and one of them started to drive the car. We were driving behind a government bus at a distance of 10 meters, suddenly the bus stopped and we had to stop the vehicle by applying the break. There was another car, who was behind us and he dashed our vehicle. There was some damage at the back of the car.

We were shocked and the driver of the vehicle behind our car blamed us, but they should have left atleast 10 meters of gap behind us, instead they were so close to us and dashed us. We called the owner and informed them about this. He asked to claim atleast 5000 rupees and remaining amount can be covered with the help of insurance. We agreed to the owner, but the guy demanded us money as his car was damaged. There were people surrounding us and they started to support that guy, since he was from the same state, they knew that the mistake was that of the other driver, but since they belonged to same state, they tried to compromise this case and asked them and us to leave as both the vehicles have been damaged.

We did not agree to this and decided to visit the police station. We went to the police station and gave a complaint on the other driver. We were worried, what if they accuse us and put behind the bars. But, some miracle incident happened. Yes, after listening to statements from both the side, they realized that the mistake was on the other driver and ordered him to settle the amount of Rs5000 as per our demand. That guy told that he has only Rs3000, the police immediately asked him to take money from ATM and return the amount to us. That guy went to the ATM and then took the money and tried to hand it over to police. But, the police refused to touch the money and asked one of us to collect it directly from that guy. They were so honest police, even though we belong to different state, the truth was on our side and they did not bribe us and handed over the money to us without touching the money.
