Hi friends, thanks for the support you have given for my previous blogs. I am back with another real life incident that has happened to me. I don't think that many of you would have got a chance to visit a police station. Of course, it is not a holy place or museum so that everyone can visit. It is definitely a place that we should avoid visiting in our entire life, not because the cops are bad, we should ensure that we are not committing any crime and get cheated by anyone else, that is the reason I mentioned it. 

So, my first visit of police station happened in 2015. Though I have not committed any crime nor I have not been a victim, still I had to visit the police station for my friend. We came back from our native to the city where we work. That time, the bus was crowded at that time. So, I did not get inside it, since it was getting late for my friend, he boarded to that bus, unfortunately his mobile phone was pickpocketed. We did not know, what to do. I called and informed my lead that my friend has lost his phone and need half a day permission for helping him with police station formalities.

Lead agreed and be in the office by afternoon. So, we went to that police station where the theft took place. They directed that, it wont come under our control and asked to visit another place. We went to another station, they took the complaint, they did not wanted to take this case for free, We gave 300 rupees to the police station and they filed the complaint, we gave the IMEI number to track that phone and they asked us to leave the place.

That day I was wearing a white shirt and black pant, I did not know that I looked like a lawyer in the costume. So, the police inspector told that they will call my number and inform us if the phone was detected. But, did not get any call till date. I informed the same to my Team leader, that police wont show much interest in these cases, moreover, your costume looked like a costume of lawyer. This was a bad experience of visiting police station, we could have simply stayed back atleast we would have saved the auto expense and police bribe. My friend has insured the phone and claimed a partial amount from that insurance and bought a new phone.
