Hello Everyone and welcome to yet another blog. Story time it is, buckle up because it gets tricky :)
So it all goes back to the time when I was in class 1, a very calm 6 year old kid. Going to school from pre-school was pretty exciting with new subjects, new activites and most important part of this excitement was the CLASS TRIP !!!
It was mid of the academic year when they had made an announcement in class about a class trip to resort in the city for class 1&2 kids. As awaited, I was very excited for the D-Day and starting counting days. Out of nowhere, I caught a high fever just a day before the trip and was in a doubt if I could go or not.
All credits to my mom for requesting the teacher incharge to take care of me and give me medicines for the day so I could still go on the trip. As expected the teacher agreed and I got in the bus for my trip!! Yay!!(Not so yay :p)
On reaching the resort, we had to assemble in the common area for some instructions and later we were surrounded around the pool. There was a boy of around 19-20 years standing in the middle of the pool and entertaining the kids sitting around the pool. Along with all the other kids I was also sitting by the pool and offcourse tired because of the fever. After about ten minutes, I felt someone push me from behind and the very next thing I remember is falling into the pool and being drowned. It was about the longest one minute of my life that I was just being pulled downwards in the water and struggling to breathe. My luck worked and the boy in the pool noticed the bubbles coming up and rescued me. After I was out of the pool, the teachers and the resort staff were at panic as I was unconsious due to panic, fever and gulping in water while drowning. After four to five pushes on the back I puked out the water and finally gained consiousness. It took me the whole day of my trip and also the coming two to three days to feel normal as I was still shocked.
As a kid, I was very scared to say it to my parents about what had at the trip, so I kept mum about it. After some days, I had gone out with my family for a evening outing where we met our class teacher and my expectation was not dissapointed as I heard the teacher saying about the incident happened at the trip to my parents.
I was questioned by my parents about why I kept mum about this and didn't bring it to their notice. But as usual my mom was concerned, hugged and consoled me :)
I'm ending my blog here with a note that, life is always ready to give you chances on the way but you need to be open enough to take them up and live it fully. Do LIKE, FOLLOW, SHARE, COMMENT my content.
