In Case You Are Also Wasting Food ..

After reading my blogs most of you must be thinking I keep whinning about everything, keep complaining, never satisfied never content ! Somewhat it's true .. Because Am Not, Indeed ! Because I am hungry ! Even though hostel does have food. The problem is am a pure vegetarian and the Mess serves Non Vegetarian Food thrice a week. Although there are vegetarian options for those people who don't eat non veg. But I cannot go to the dining on those 3 days. I somehow manage either by eating some snacks or having tea. I can feel it that am getting weaker internally as am not getting enough diet.
The menu options are so much worse and senseless. I mean who serves only 2 Rusks+ Tea in the breakfast. While Breakfast should be the heaviest meal of the day. I go to university by 8:30 with just tea rusk. And then I eagerly wait for lunch . Unfortunately I am not (more people like me) even able to have lunch. Like today I ran and came by 03:30 pm. Went to the dining. Opened the lid, there is no rice, no sabzi, and other casserole had some leftover chapattis. I asked a few working ladies there why there is no food , it's not even 4 pm ? First they made some faces and said "it's finished, can't help". Ah... Cool ! I know you can't help but you could have cooked some more.  What are we gonna do now ? Order from outside ? As if we have a money plant & a terribly strong immune system to digest and get away with unhealthy foods every second day. First we pay for the mess and then order from outside to pay for that too.
I notice how people in my hostel are habitual of wasting food. They intentionally take a large quantity of food , I don't understand why? Is food going to run  ? Or Is this your last meal? Why don't they take only food they can swallow down their throats ? Why this greed? And when they don't like it or feel their stomach is full now, they just keep  plates on side table, loaded with food ! Now who is going to eat that wasted food? If it was in those casseroles, untouched, wouldn't have we been eating that? We aren't kid anymore. Our parents tell us this one thing to not to waste food and take only small quantity in the beginning and if you feel like having more, refill your plate simply. What is this unacceptable behaviour of over-loading the plates? I request you to not to be an animal !

I was already eating yellow dal+roti every night.  Today I didn't even get that to eat. I try not to share this with my parents. But I get so irritated that sometimes I spit out everything. This upsets them too.  I tell myself struggling isn't a bad thing. One day I will be recalling all these days sitting in a couch , having my favourite food.

Thanks for reading this!

The wasting food story is everywhere people waste so much food I don't understand how they don't even know about their appetite.

This is really a matter of concern, washing food and creating a scarcity afterwards is something which should be protested against, even i remember my hostel days from your blog
