What is Construction? 

In olden ages human made a cave to live as shelter from environmental caution  But now a days humans makes every buildings according to their budgets and economical needs like a high rise buildings, bungalow , flats, or single residential building. There are so many design and structures are made in the 2 dimensional view and 3 dimensional view. 

Now how a building is raised from ground level . First we need to see or visualize the site area where we are going to construct, next step is site clearance, we have to clean the area to provide materials used for construction works like cement sand and aggregate etc. 

Earthwork excavation is the first work where we able to build a foundation of the sub structure. We have to dig the soil as the basis of length, breadth and depth of foundation given in the plan. The foundation work contains PCC, RCC, Pedestral raising and grade beam work upto the ground level of soil. 

PCC (PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE) work is done after the excavation work where the workers can use their skills but mixing the exact ratio of cement sand and 40mm aggregate for the soil condition. Workers fills the PCC upto 2 to 3 inch on each excited area. 

RCC ( REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE) work is going to be the next objective but we have to barbend the rods before it happens and shuttering it using wooden blocks for the concrete being scattered from the reinforced area. In barbending rings or stirrups is used for the tightening or gripping the rods. Each stirupps are placed within the center to center distance (¼) length of the rod. 

PEDESTRAL RAISING is the next work where we barbend the rods and connect it to the rcc , shutter it and concreting. Column boxes are used for shuttering according to the column  sizes Curing is the next process for strengthening the column and rcc concrete of buildings. 

Preparing grade beam is the final work for a buildings sub structure. There are various sizes of beams are constructed according to the height and load carried to the soil. The grade beam is developed as same as the procedure rod cutting and connecting, shuttering and pouring concrete by hand mixing concrete. But we should be careful about the connection of the beams and joints Sometime  the extra rods are provided for the strengthening of each layer of reinforcement beam.
