This is a segment of Mahabharatha, where the conversation between Krishna and Arjuna takes place which sets a wonderful and beautiful example to all of us that makes us believe that there is an invisible strength that exists with all of us.
It was when the king of Panchal, Drupad, held swayamvar for his enchantingly beautiful daughter Druapadi. The challenge for the one to be deserved to marry her was to shoot an arrow into the eye of a rotating fish by looking its image below in the oil filled container.
Before the start of Arjuna’s turn, Krishna provides his suggestions to him so as to be successful in shooting the target. Krishna said, “Arjuna, concentrate and stay focused, don’t let yourself to be diverted towards unnecessary thoughts, believe in yourself and aim the target.”
Arjuna who believed Krishna himself as the supreme power, questioned back Krishna saying, “If I am supposed to do all these things, then what is your role in this..?”
Krishna smiled and replied to Arjuna, “I shall control the wind, so that the image in the oil is not disturbed and help you shoot your target.”
The above scenario makes us to strongly believe that, if there is sincere and determined effort from us to reach any of our goals in life, there is also a superpower and an extreme strength that happens to exist with all of us and that is none other than “GOD”. Yes, if one does believe in God, he exists along with us and is helping and protecting us in his own way that is not noticeable, so as to accomplish our goals and dreams if put our efforts in a determined manner.
Prayers are not just a set of words or sentences that we address to God. Prayers are listened by him every time we pray and he definitely helps us in his own way to make our wishes come true, and yes only if we are doing justice in every way that requires to accomplish our goal.
There are examples when we had a wish to come true in our life, and for the same we prayed God, a number of times to help us get that, without knowing what exactly requires for us to accomplish that and even if known, not willing or determined enough to do that. Even after a span of time, our wish doesn’t come true and we feel to lose our hope and blame God for not fulfilling our wish without thinking or questioning ourselves if we have done everything that had to be done for the same.
Praying alone is not the way to reach our goals. Do everything you are supposed to do along with your prayers, believe in yourself and God, there is always his deed to help you in his own ways that is not always noticeable to us.
