Boy From Middle Class And His Dreams

Hii guys, my name is Tariq. I'm from South India. I heartily thank everyone who's finger touched this blog. And I hope I satisfy your thought on this topic.

Dreams:  I clear you that, the dreams I mention here are not the ones during sleep. But the ones that does not let you sleep.- by our former president A.P.J Abdul Kalam.

Coming from a middle class family. Every thing we see around us looks huge and unaffordable. Life is not easy, the school fees that have to be paid has many struggle behind-the-scenes. My friend who brings different dishes each day will not understand the pain of me who gets idly with chutney each and every day.

Coming back to the topic.  Dreams comes from different sources to a middle class boy like movies, motivational speakers, advertisement, and many successful people. For me my first dream of becoming a aeronautical space engineer which doesn't even last for a week. Came from Kalpana Chawla, who was the first women from India went to space.  As a guess, it was my 4th grade. And I was learning a lesson about her from my English book. Which had many things to say but not interesting enough to get into my mind. I then said this dream to my mum, which is rather a mistake maybe. I don't know what she thought. She firmly said,"woh sab Nako, tu engineer banao", simply an Indian family pushing a son to become an engineer. I felt ok about it as I did not  have any knowledge about anything and did not have idea to learn to. With this mentality, my marks had other idea. I did not score enough to get into science group of my school. And they threw the commerce seat on my face. Another blank situation, but I'm not so much worried about it too. But what I was worried is my parents. Who gave everything for me.

And then that day was my dream born, the dream was to make them stop worrying about their son's future. I don't know whether this is called as a dream but my goal was to satisfy my parents with my success. That was my turning point where I actually started learning about studies and life. For the next two years I was so  focused and was doing my best to give my parents everything. I secured 94% in the end of my schooling and got seat in merit basis. I was happy but not satisfied with it. The thing which satisfied me was my mum's smile and my dad's words, you did well beta… .

I now pursuing my degree in a reputed university. And I have one dream left to make my parents retire and should make them live their lives without any regrets.

Thank you for studying till here. You may feel that this content doesn't  suits the topic. But i just wrote what I felt in heart and what I felt was my dream.

Wherever you go, whatever you do. Take care of yourself and your parents. They did everything for you when u needed it the most. So it is your turn to give it back.

With love to every parents there. You guys are great. And may Allah grant you the greatest heaven.

                                                    ~Tariq.
