Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal was written and directed by Vignesh Shivan, created by Shivan and nayantharas  banner Rowdy pictures with seven screen studies, and distributed by idhayanidhi in 2022.A romantic comedy film in Tamil, India.stalin red giant movie under his flag.Film stars Vijay sethupathi, nayanthara, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu score the music, and Vijay Karthik kannan and A.sreekar Prasad serve as cinematographers and editors respectively.

              Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal launched on April 28,2022 and matched Samantha's birth day. Initially Samantha's birth day. Initially it was planned to go out in a theatrical outbound in December 2021, but the post- production delayed,so the release was postponed in April. The manufacturer was planning to release a version folded by telgu in the name of kanmani Rambo khatija at the same time.

              After the success of Naanum rowdy dhaan ( 2015), Vignesh Shivan planned a script for a triangular romance film starring Sivakarthikeyan, with actresses Trisha and nayanthara considering a female lead role. At the end of 2016, Vignesh announced that Vijay sethupathi will play a lead role in his film, titled kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Aniluda ravichander reported that sethupathi and aniluda won the music which marked their sewnd collaboration with vignesh, following Naanum rowdy dhaan.the shooting of this film, producted by A.M.rathnam decided that Vignesh remade the Hindi film special 26 (2013) for his new project.thyak  stirrer thaana serntha kootam (2018) ob the floor in August 2018. He also worked with Sivakarthikeyan to make another film producted by lyca productions. This film was working title.

               Vignesh decided to visit the script again with the same actor and the team on the occasion of Valentine's day (February 14 2020). Vignesh officially announced a film with the same title kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal with seven screen studies, Lalit Kumar, with Lalit Kumar. He reported that he would make film under nayanthara and Samantha were officially announced as the hero of the women.He was promoted as a triangle story of love.

       The soundtrack of seven film was made up of anirudh ravichander in the third collaboration with vignesh after Naanum rowdy dhaan (2015) and thaana serntha kootam ( 2018).It is also the 25th film as a composer.. with a due plan to launch a single on Valentine's day,the manufacturer launched a song “ kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal” on February 14,2021.anirudh sang this song with the voice of a women with shakthisree galan  and Aishwarya swesh bindra.
