A Generation Like Ours - Part 2

A generation like ours, wouldn’t be willing to accept it. I mean just look around you closely, doesn’t it tear your heart apart. A world where few of us gets privileged to choose our leaders and the other few of us don’t even know if they will make it through the day without losing themselves or someone else to few people who want to accomplish their power. A generation like ours doesn’t want to be part of it.

Let’s talk about Hitler for once, our history holds the record of him being the most petrified dictator, how many lives did he take. He as a single human destroyed the happiness of countless families and left the world shivering with terror. Giving a thought about it, who gave him the power to do this to the whole humanity, no one but us, we people. But above all of this when he died, his hands were held hanging from his coffin which signified that he wasn’t able to take anything from this world. He left empty hands.

So now if you aren’t thinking yet, just for once having a thread of thoughts about what good is the war and the killings doing to us. I mean in the end, we all die and leave empty hands, and a generation like ours tries to understand that- we as humans are so much more than wars and religion. These two are just trivial concepts built up by jittery humans who would otherwise believe that their survival isn’t going to be easy.

Ever given a chance to a generation like ours who are not only flawed but negligent, the first thing we would do is make the world a better place to live in. We understand the thousand of killings during wars are harmful. We all are one and these are nothing but imaginary lines that have been dividing us. We all belong to one community and that is humanity. No one can ever be greater than a good human.

Maybe a generation like ours wouldn’t visit the religious location as much as our elders’ desire and maybe a generation like ours doesn’t own much pride in wars overpower and states. Because a generation like ours fails to understand what is it so important to fight over a piece of land for as many as 50 years now? I mean, is that piece of land so much more significant than the cost of lives of more than 10000 people. Generation like ours believes that humanity is the greatest religion one could preach.

If there are some supreme powers, which created the mountains, the beaches, the plants and the lives thought the world around each human being, there was a purpose behind it. The news of wars and the endless killings of innocents and harmless creatures makes us question- WHAT WORLD IT IS, AND WHAT GOOD HAS RELIGION EVER DONE TO THE WORLD, WHICH WAR HAS EVER BOUGHT ETERNAL HAPPINESS TO A NATION WITHOUT SACRIFICES?

The day generation like ours would find answers to all of this; we may take pride in being part of the war we may get up and to religious sites. But until then a generation like ours doesn’t want to be a part of this entire intoxicating, euphoric and exhilarating world.
