How To Make Paneer At Home

Hi guys, Welcome to my blog. Today I want to write about how to make paneer at home. Not only Indians but also foreigners love our food. If we ask them about what they love in our food, 78% of people have paneer in their bucket list. During the Pandemic, I have no choice but to make it at home . Without any further delay, Let's see the procedure to make paneer.

Ingredients:

  1. Milk

2. lemon juice/vinegar (The best option is lemon juice)

3. warm water

Procedure:

Turn on the stove, take a saucepan with milk(half-liter or one liter is your choice)

If you want water to add to the milk you can add

Heat it until it fully boiled

Now, take the lemon juice, and add it to warm water

Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of lemon juice to milk.

The solid part of milk and water gets separated

Now filter out the water, you are only left with a solid part of milk(paneer)

Filter out the water nicely until you are left with a white part.

Take a clean cloth, and transfer the white part of the milk(paneer) to the cloth. tie it tightly and place a weight on it for about 20-30 minutes, so that excess water gets removed.

Remove the weight, Keep the cloth with paneer in the fridge for half a day and it will get somewhat hard.

Now, Paneer is ready to make your favorite recipes like palak paneer, Paneer Butter Masala, Paneer 65, etc;

Bonus recipes - Grilled Paneer

Cut the paneer into pieces

Now take Corn flour, Maida, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, garam masala, curd, and salt, and mix them properly. The Masala Mixture is ready.

Now take grilled sticks, and attach paneer to them.

Coat it with a masala mixture 

If you are using the oven, keep it for 120 degrees and 6-7 minutes.

The best option, which gives tastiness to the recipe is grilling it on the coal stove.

Now tasty grilled paneer is ready.

serve it with green chutney, tomato sauce, and mayonnaise.

Paneer Manchurian:

Chop tomatoes, onions, green, yellow and red capsicum, spring onions

Take a pan, add oil, and all the veggies fry them until they cook 

Now add soy sauce, vinegar, tomato sauce, and corn flour water, and stir them. Now add paneer, and give it a stir. Decorate it with spring onions.
