Motichur Laddu:
Motichur Laddu is one of the famous Indian sweets which is loved by all age groups. Let's see the making process.
Take a cup of besan flour, and add water little by little. Mix it until the batter is free from lumps. Now place a kadai, add half a cup sugar and water stir it by keeping the stove on medium flame. When the syrup is almost ready put a pinch of orange food color and cardamom powder. When the sugar syrup slightly thickens turn off the stove. For making boondi, heat the oil and place a skimmer on the top of oil, pour the batter on the skimmer and gently spread the batter by using hand or glass. Once the boondi is prepared, mix it with sugar syrup. Apply ghee to hand, take the boondi which is soaked in sugar syrup, make them into round shapes. We can garnish them with cashews, melon seeds, almonds or any dry fruit of our choice.
Rasagulla:
Boil two liters of milk without mixing water. Now, in half a glass of warm water squeeze the lemon and mix them. Pour this mixture in the boiling milk and it becomes curdled milk. Take a clean cloth, and pour the milk. Drain off the liquid part through cloth and place a weight on the cloth and rest it for 20 minutes. The Remaining liquid goes off. Ready the sugar syrup by adding a little bit of ghee and cardamom. Now, Knead the curdled milk mixture until it becomes soft dough. separate them into portions. Give them good round shapes. Drop these balls in the syrup, and let them boil in sugar syrup for 10 to 15 minutes. After 15 minutes turn off the stove and leave it to cool. It tastes better when we refrigerate it.
Kaju Katli:
In 500 grams cashews add boiled water and leave it for 1 to 1.5 hours. Later, remove the cashews from the water. Grind it to thick paste. Transfer it into a plate, mix it up with milk powder and powdered sugar. Spread the dough evenly on the plate and cut them into diamond shapes. If want we can add silver foil on the top.
Gulab Jamun:
To wheat flour, add a pinch of cooking soda, milk powder, ghee, and the required quantity of milk or water. Knead it to soft dough and deep fry it in oil after making them into round balls. in the next step, soak them in the freshly prepared sugar syrup. Serve it either warm or cool.
Double ka Meetha:
To make this recipe, first we have cut the bread slices into triangular shape and fry them. Later, settle them in sugar syrup until it observed. Place it on a plate and garish it with dry fruits and a scoop of ice cream of your choice.
