Hey everyone π,
Hope you are having a wonderful day. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.
I got the first shot of the Covid-19 vaccine last week and wasn't feeling well so I didn't blog then.
This blog is going to be about my best friend who I have been friends with since school. I cannot reveal her name so I'll call her Daisy. We had been classmates in school but never really talked before the eight grade. In the eight grade we were in the same class and she was friends with this other girl. Our class teacher made us sit together and eventually we started talking and became friends.
I'm an introvert so I really don't talk a lot to people. At first I thought that Daisy and her friend were immature because sometimes they used to talk about things kids talk about. During this time I did not have many friends in my class so I mostly talked to Daisy because we sat together. We became good friends in a short period of time.
Time passed and the other girl who was our desk partner found another group of friends who she thought were βcoolerβ than Daisy so she started to hang out more with them.
I have to say eight grade was not the best of times for me because of some things but being with Daisy made it bearable to say the least. We had a lot of fun in class talking, exchanging notes, playing in PT lectures.
In my school, at the end of eight grade all the students have to select certain subjects which determined in what class they would be in the ninth and tenth grade. Daisy and I chose similar subjects so we were in the same class. I couldn't be happier. Over those two years we became best friends and shared everything with each other. Daisy was with me through all my highs and lows. She never judged me and was very supportive. At times when I felt despondent Daisy was always there for me. She was a carefree and quirky person who I enjoyed being with. She was the kind of person who gets a crush on every second person so I had a fun time teasing her about it.
In the tenth grade our school organised a camp. Over there we had a lot of fun and made countless memories which I will cherish throughout my life. That was the best time of our lives.
Grade tenth was stressful because of the upcoming board exams and we had joined coaching classes for the same. Sadly Daisy and I were in different coaching classes. Nevertheless we studied and completed our projects together. Sometimes I went over to her house, the other times she came over mine. Our inside jokes came from our endless discussions about the most random things. We loved sharing memes with each other.
Daisy had decided that after tenth grade she was opting commerce as her subject. I had decided to pursue my passion in humanities. We knew that because of this we had to go to different colleges and were in despair. But we promised to be best friends.
I just went trough this post and realised that it is a bit long and if I write the rest of it it'll be even longer. So I've decided to split it into two parts. The other half of the story will be in my next post so if you liked this one stay tuned for the next one.
Hope you liked today's post. Please leave a like, it will make my day. Thank you for reading. I'll be back soon.
Till then stay safe, wear a mask and stay at home π
