I love to eat omelet by adding extra salt to it and then regretting it later when I feel thirsty all the time and peeing all night. Before starting with this experiment I was eating lot of salt by adding unwanted salt to all my dishes . My family and friends used to stop me every time from doing this. After binging on salty food all day Next morning I had a very bad feeling with puffy and swollen face pushing myself very hard to start my day. When I cut down my salt up to 80% I felt refreshed and light headed all my day. Earlier I used to get angry quickly but after cutting salt I am now getting more control over me. I have never felt like this before earlier I used to get depressed and irritated by the situation not happening as decided but now I take them lightly and try to solve such situations rationally. I can sleep better now and wake up early morning without much resistance but I have noticed that I am not able to wake up early if I had heavy dinner last night. I must recommend everyone to experiment with their salt intake because this would not only reduce your water weight but also prevent you from heart diseases and kidney failure with other benefits like reduce in hypertension and aging problem. Sodium is a vital element which act like a electrolyte necessary for transmission of signals from brain to other parts of the body. According to WHO on a average 2300 mg is limit of salt should be taken throughout a day and I have realized that when you cut down your salt intake you actually can take the natural taste of food. I must repeat this again that you should take salt in a moderate amount in spite of not consuming at all otherwise you will have to suffer through a disease that is called hyponatremia which is caused due to deficiency of salt in your body and is fatal. it has shown in many studies that due to reduce salt intake helps in quitting alcohol and smoking because you drink more when you are dehydrated that what salt does to your body it will continuously ask for water so as to balance water salt in your body. I personally feel relaxed and less frustrated due to less salt intake. Thanks.
