Marketing is  process of making everyone aware of a product by strategical planning. If you are  a marketing person of any company that means you are the face of that company. In marketing you should have a thorough knowledge of your products so as to sell them effectively. 

You will be sending introduction mail of your company to your products related client. Once you have sent the introduction mail to a client then you should give them a call and brief them about our company and your products. 

In marketing two things matters a lot 1) patience 2) communication skills. 

Patience plays a key role in marketing. If you are constantly working hard and not getting any orders you will be disappointed and from there you will feel demotivated. I would suggest you to remember that  if you are working hard then you will get the orders one day or other. 

You should maintain a data sheet where you should write contact details and related discussion and update it on the regular basis. 

I would like to share a incident when I was in marketing in 2017. 

I was just pass out from my college and joined as sales engineer in a expansion joint manufacturing company I hv no clue how I am going to get orders and was very nervous. My boss gave me training on   products and marketing. He told me to send intro mail and talk to them about your company and ask them to inform if there is any enquiries related to our product.

I was in constant pressure and always feel nervous before calling any one on phone. 

In marketing you hv to work for 24 hrs because your phone will keep on ringing and you have to answer every call. Once you got any enquires via mail, you should reply them with acknowledgment mail in return. 

My boss equally working hard and really helped me in growth of my knowledge and communication skill but he was constantly pressurizing me to get the orders or I will not get my salary. He told me once not to move from my seat until I bid for a tender literally I was so annoyed that I thought to quit but I can't because I had education loan and many other responsibilities and then after few days of struggle I got several orders and my boss started appreciating me. 

So the moral of this blog is keep on trying and you will achieve what u want in life. Thanks
