Fear Of Darkness In Alone

I had a dream, but it wasn't just a dream, in my opinion. In my dream, the sun had set and the stars were lost in a void devoid of any light or guidance. Without even the moon as a light source, the frozen earth stumbled through the night. Even though the morning came and went, no daylight was present.

they were powerless to do anything but selfishly hope for the light to return since everyone's hearts had frozen in the middle of all this suffering. they ignited small flames to see by, and steadily started setting fire to whatever structure they could find, including kings' thrones, peasants' huts, and entire cities. they eventually gathered around their own burning homes only to witness one another in.

Heart of Darkness centres around Marlow, an introspective sailor, and his journey up the Congo River to meet Kurtz, reputed to be an idealistic man of great abilities.

Marlow joins the Company, a Belgian company set up to conduct business in the Congo, as a riverboat captain. Marlow confronts widespread inefficiency and brutality in the Company's stations as he goes to Africa and then up the Congo. The native people of the area were coerced into serving the Company, and now they endure horrendous overwork and mistreatment at the hands of the Company's agents. The calm and majestic jungle that envelops the white man's settlements, giving them the appearance of being little islands, contrasts strikingly with the savagery and squalor of imperial enterprise.

Gretel declares at the start of the poem that she and her brother had the world they desired. They have defeated and slain the witch who attempted to kill them. She can still hear the witch's last cries, which serves as a reminder that God supports those who support themselves. In a nod to how the witch dies in the Hansel and Gretel tale, she envisions the witch's tongue shrivelling into gas (by being shoved in the oven and cooked).

The second stanza considers the siblings' current circumstance. They have plenty of food to eat and sleep in their father's hut. Gretel questions why she is unable to forget the witch-related experiences. Even though everything happened in the past, their father still locks the door.

My dream was extremely not a dream. The brilliant sun has extinguished and stars had been wondered in tha earth.

Blessed were those who lived in God's eyes
