Introduction : 

Hello guys! I hope you saw me last post as this is going to be the sequel of the last blog. The Vampire Diaries returned with another heart-striking season including Katherine , Rose, and The Original Vampires. This is one of my personal favourite seasons as it is a phenomenal mixture of supernatural creatures and plot twists.

Plot Summary: 

Katherine is back with not so good intentions. In the last season, it was revealed that the Lockwood's are werewolves. Werewolf gene is pass in the bloodline and to activate it one has to kill a human either knowingly or unknowingly. The first half of season deals with Katherine creating rucus in the city and turning Elena's friend Caroline Forbes into a vampire to do her bad work.

Stefan and Damon decides to take down Katherine on Masquerade ball but Katherine being Katherine tied her life with Bonnie's so that if they hurt her, Bonnie would also get hurt.

Since the witch who cast the linking spell admired the Bennet line witches, she double-croses Katherine and lifts the spell. Thus Damon and Stefan get to imprison her in the very tomb she was supposed to be buried.But she warns them that Elena is in grave danger and in the following scene she is captured by a mask man. In the parallel Matt being compelled by Katherine hits Tyler to activate his curse and that happens.

The masked man took Elena to a deserted home where another Vampire Rose also stayed. Rose told Elena that they were on a run for over five centuries from the Originals, the first line of vampires. Stefan and Damon tracked down Elena and went to rescue her. One of the Originals, Elijah Mikaelson went to Rose's mansion and he was surprised by seeing a human doppelganger. Katherine was a doppelganger too but she was turned into vampire. Stefan And Damon was successful in rescuing Elena by stabbing Elijah with large wooden stake.

Since Elijah cannot be killed by a normal wooden stake he came back to life. He revealed his intentions in later episodes that he wanted the moonstone so that his brother, Klaus Mikaelson ( a vampire and a werewolf that is dormant)cannot use it to free his werewolf side and become an Original hybrid. Klaus used his witches to transfer himself into Alaric's body so that he could know others intentions against him. He took Caroline and Tyler to break his curse but they were rescued by Damon who got bitten in the process. Later then, Klaus reveals that he had a backup plan and took another werewolf and made Elena's aunt Jenna into vampire as a sacrifice in the ritual.

Due to this, when he was in transition to break his curse Elijah interrupted.Elijah was willing to kill Klaus as he daggered his siblings with silver dagger with white oak powder(that can dessicate an original but not kill) and put them into coffins. When Elijah was about to tear Klaus's heart out, Klaus told him that he would tell there location if Elijah let him live. Due to this Elijah took Klaus with him into a forest. After waking up, Klaus stabs Elijah with the white oak dagger putting him as the same mercy as of his other siblings.

When Stefan came to know about Damon being bit by werewolf, he went to Bonnie to get cure for his brother. It was revealed that only Klaus's blood can heal him. So Stefan went for Klaus's help to give him some of his blood. But Klaus made a deal that he would only give him his blood if Stefan comes with him on a killer rampage. He knew Stefan was a true Ripper(Stefan wiped out an entire village in Monterey in 1917 although he was guilty doing that). Stefan agreed to do anything to save his brother's life and got his blood and went on killer rampage with Klaus.
