Hey bloggers today I come up with new technology and regarding present industrial revolution. we have gone through 3 revolutions with latest innovations on each phase the same way Industrial Revolution 4.0 is a new phase with high efficient technologies. Industrial revolution is defined as the major changes and transition in manufacturing and industrial process with new innovative technologies.

Industrial revolution 1.0 started in the year 1784. At this time machines were running by water and steam.

Industrial Revolution 2.0 started in the year 1870 with the Electricity and steel mass production. combustion engines, automobiles, rail goods and aero planes were invented in this period of time.

Industrial Revolution 3.0 stated around 1969 with introduction of Electronic Automation and Computers. factories became more automated and the machines are controlled using PLCs. This Industrial Revolution mainly focused on the digital technologies and automation.

Industrial Revolution 4.0 is present revolution we are in. This is trigger by Cyber-Physical system. It connects the real world to virtual digital world.

Now we look into Industry 4.0;

This introduce intelligent networking of machines and processes for industry with the help of information and communication technology. There are some key technologies that connects the computers, devices and machines to communicate one another without human intervention.

Internet Of Things (IOT): It is a network of Physical objects, that are able to collect data with help of sensors and exchange data each oher with help of internet.

Advanced Robotics: Robots are programmable machines that are usually able to carry out a series of action autonomously or semi-autonomously. robotics is a branch of technology that deals with physical robots.

Artificial Intelligence (AI): It is a computer program which enables a machine to simulate human behavior like learning, planning, problem solving etc.,

Cloud Computing and Big Data: Storing data from various electronic devices in a remote server and that can access from any where in the world. large form of data collected in the form of text, audio, video, images all are collectively called as Big data. Big data analytics is a process of store and examine large volume of data from sources and systematically extract useful information from that.

Cyber Security: It is the practice of defending computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks and data from malicious attacks.

Additive Manufacturing: It is a computer controlled process that creates 3 dimensional objects by depositing materials, usually in layers. It is also known as 3D printing.

Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR): AR is technology that create enhanced version of real world in front of us by adding a layer of digital information on that. VR is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment.

I think some may have confusion with AR and VR, actually both are different technology where;

AR is computer generated graphics on top of actual reality. 

VR is computer generated graphics to create entire virtual world.
