….She returned from the palace only after two hours. She was trembling . She remembered William only after her return. She immediately opened the almirah where she found her beloved son dead.

His head was resting on his note book . Perhaps William had wept before he faced death and so the note books were drenched in tears.

Dame Elizabeth became unconscious . The maid servants attended her. She revived after a longtime.

William was cremated . His mother Dame Elizabeth was in state of shock for a couple of months. Her son was innocent. Actually she had killed her son. The death of William in the closed almirah haunted her day and night. She wept and wept. She beat her breast like mad women. The sad and cruel end of her son made her most worried

“Oh ! my son ! What a foolish work I did  ? What a tragic end I brought to you ? No body excuses me. I'm a killer. Where can I find you ? I loved you much. Just to make you a well read man I did it just to punish you for a moment. I felt that you would realise . But I forget to tell somebody or else I would have opened the almirah. I'm not a human. Oh my son till I see you I don't have peace of mind ”

She used to groan always. She could not forgive herself for what she had done. She lived into the age of 91 . She died in 1609.

Exactly ten days after her death she was found continously weeping at the spot from where the dead body of William was taken out. She was worrying much for her child even in death.

The house was renovated after 200 years some text books and note books were found while cleaning. One note book was open . A child had written a lesson on it .

In the centre of the page was a yellow discoloured stain. It was a dried tears of William . The ghost of Dame Elizabeth was seen always roaming at the spot where the note was kept. The ghost was so much attached to that spot.

The family members kept the note book at a different place. But the ghost made that spot it's abode. It is said that even today the ghost of Dame Elizabeth hovers at that spot.
