Owning a pet comes with various responsibilities and it's a fantastic way of learning how to take care of somebody. Pets especially dogs can reduce stress, anxiety and depression, ease loneliness, encourage exercise and playfulness and even improve your cardiovascular health. They also provide valuable companionship for humans. There have been many instances where pets have acted as protectors of their masters. Working dogs like German shepherd and dobermans are excellent guards for families. They are the most loyal creatures. 

Here comes my pet whom we named Soldier(Doberman) entered my family on June 8th 2020. The reason for choosing Doberman is they are very loyal to their owners. This was so far the best quarantine gift for our family. We've adopted him when he was 37 days old. It was a new experience to our family.

In the initial days we had to take serious health care to this boy and had to run around hospitals as he was infected with ticks. This made us capable of loving each and every creature emotionally. As said dobermans are very tough to handle and unknowingly due to our excessive love he turned notorious. As he was growing old it became difficult for us to handle his playfulness. At one point when he started teething he started to bite whatever came his way , even our hands where scratches became extreme. 

After a lot of thought process we decided to send him to military training (I.e) basic obedience training at commando kennels located at Kompally. It was a tough time for our family to accept his absence in the house yet we gained courage and trained him for a period of 4 months and recently on February 21st we've bought him home.

He turned into an awesome , well behaved and disciplined member of our family which have left us speechless and felt it was the best decision we've made so far. After coming home he behaves according to our commands , listens and understands each and every word we speak. Though he respect our commands his notorious behaviour remains same. He welcomes us when we come home after a tiring day and it takes about 15minutes just to calm his enthusiasm. He is the alarm in our home. He wakes everyone in the early morning and kisses everyone for morning walk. Whenever he needs food he becomes an obedient boy even without our commands.

We are totally enjoying his playfulness as he is 1 year old now and are going to miss this once he is an adult as they become quite and reserved. Soldier has bought lots of happiness into our lives. We tend to forget all our worries just by having him on our side. His love has no bounds. 

At the end of the day this boy might grow physically and become mature but the love for his family will remain constant. In no time this boy added magic to our lives.
