Hello everyone. Hope everyone is doing well .Here I have come up with a new inspiring story of a person who is physically disabled but a successful entrepreneur today and I assured you after reading this blog you are surely going to get inspired from his story .So let's start with today's blog.
In today's era where people gave up on their life and dreams just due to little inconvenience and minor obstacles, this blind person with his never give up attitude became a CEO of Rs.50 crore company.
Shrikant belongs to poor family of farmer .When he was born his family was happy and sad at the same time .Happy because giving birth to a child is the happiest thing for a couple and sad because their child was blind. The situation was completely opposite to the term “ The apple of the eye ”because Shrikant had no eyes. His family was advised to kill the child because and the people around them raised comments that to save themselves from the pain of life they should kill the child as they would not be able to bear expenses of a blind child.
But the Almighty had different plan for Shrikant. His family does not pay any attention to the people's advises and gave him utmost love ,care ,compassion .
Shrikant spent most of his childhood by going with his father to their farmland to observe the process of cultivation but he was not able to do that work. That day ,his father decided that Shrikant needs to get educated as he does not fits in their family occupation and to make him stand on his own feet and very soon Shrikant took an admission in school which was far away from his village and he had to walk through muddy puddles during rainy season and it was not an easy task for him but still he never lose hope and faced every obstacles in his path bravely.
In school , he was not acknowledge and was not allowed for any sports activity .That time in his life he felt hopeless and lonely. Later he shifted to special school of blind student .
He was an outstanding student, first ranker in his school and he played chess ,cricket for India. He completed his 10th boards and wanted to pursue science in his 11th but was not permitted to do so due to blindness. He sued the government for taking science and score 98 percent in his exam. Later his application in IIT was refused due to the same reason so he applied in MIT Boston university and became the first “international Blind Student”.
He returned to India with a hope of doing something for people like him and he started a 50 crores turnover company named 'Bollant Indusrtries " that manufactures eco-friendly packaging products in which around 105 employees are physically disabled.
He proved that “you don't need eyes to see dreams ,all you need is a vision”. Let me know how this story inspires.
