Pathu Thala Movie Review

The primary problem guiding Pathu Thala is the murder of her spouse by Ravana. This character has an interiority that a massy gangster movie rarely manages thanks to AGR's incapacity to show his decent side to his one and only family. STR also gets his best opportunities throughout this span to act subtly, which has long since surpassed his louder acting approach from his earlier days.

The filmmaker Krishna's incredible imagination when coming up with his action set pieces is another element that keeps Pathu Thala captivating. In a tiny movie like Nedunchalai, he was able to construct astounding chase sequences, so we might see hints of this. Similar scenes can be seen on top of trains, vehicles, and even a plane.

Nicolas Cage once said: "As I got older with my work, I realized the responsibility of the film, and I think that one of the best ways to apply myself as an actor is to go to movie stars and celebrities." In a way, actor-director Silambarasan's TR seems to be in a similar phase. The usual spat that is associated with him is replaced by a lot of sensible talk when he discusses his upcoming film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu (VTK), his third collaboration with filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon.
"VTK is the answer to the need for high-quality films. Assessing such companies gives me more confidence to take on such scenarios. In fact,  the success of Maanaadu motivated me  to do VTK.
VTK, inspired by a true story,  written by the well-known writer Jeyamohan, tells the story of the life and times of a migrant worker trapped in the underworld. "This is a raw and realistic film. Many people move to cities for work and  their lives are not well documented. Here, one such person is pushed into the underworld, showing his struggle to accept the new reality. He has no choice but to fight back. and only that fight pushes him forward,” says Silambarasan that through VTK, Gautham and he have consciously moved away from the standard hero story of stepping up against the odds of the past massala style.
“Hero is injured. He is attractive. Bullets hit him. He loses a finger in battle. We did not go for cheap thrills to elevate the central character just because I am playing the protagonist Muthu. From the walk, talk and behavior of the character, we have done a lot to make people see only Muthu and not Silambarasan.
