Hey everyone! We have often heard about opposite people or things always attracts. People always judge opposites like black and white, right and wrong, good and bad, this and that and so on!
You were always taught to see things in the two extremes, like if one thing is wrong than other is right. You were taught difference between two contrary things or situations. And you learnt the same way until you met that person. That person was out of the ordinary, atypical, fresh, and the perfect definition of different but beautiful. That person is someone who made you see and feel things from a whole new perspective. This person make you able to fight against all the odds.
Life for you used to be three dimensional no doubt, but they made you see the remaining dimensions which you didn't know existed. You both were not exactly like peanut butter and jelly, instead, you were the odd pair of super early sunday morning meditation and saturday night's disco at the pub. You like pop music and they loved podcasts, they are morning monger and you are a night owl, they are science nerd and you are an adventure nut, they are calm and you are the utmost chaos. You are the hollywood shows lover and they are South-Indian movies fan. You pick up fights on the most frivolous things and they even forgive you for bigger mistakes you have done.
You both might fight for the useless things but also somehow knew that both of you always have some rights in the apparent wrongs. You were like yon and yang, two sides of a coin; closely related yet different. You both are like night and stars, rattling when come together. Yes, you loved at the two ends of a spectrum, but still met in the middle which made you try new things, and made you understand and respect each other's way of living life better.
Besides all the contrast in your character, way of thinking, likings, perspectives and everything, you are perfect together, perfect for each other. Just accept the difference in taste. This will break the monotony in your lives as to enjoy life with more colours. You might find that middle road, that in between, that buffer which is none other than ‘love’ and I'll be damned if I had to tell you the power this love holds.
