When we open a newspaper there would be atleast one news that reports about the abuse or assault faced by someone or the other. In most cases the victim would be a girl or an underprivileged section of the society. This is not the case of a particular day's newspaper. It has become a routine. There won't be a single day without such a news. In most cases we would sympathize for the victim saying it should not have happened. There was no one to help them thats the reason they had to go through such a horrific situation so on and on. 

But does sympathizing leads to a solution or does suffering and crying in the dark thinking about our miseries and blaming the fate could reach us to a solution??? I think obviously not. Then what should everyone do? Its simple. Raise your voice against the injustice thats going around you.

You would think that by raising voice nothing would happen. But I would say many things can happen if you are ready to raise your voice. Don't be afraid about the repercussions that it could result in. Just live in the moment and react. 

There are several instances wherein raising the voice had indeed become a solution. Sometime back I had found an article in the newspaper wherein a girl chased the person who tried to abuse her in the bus. Even when other passengers in the bus asked her to leave the matter, she was not ready to accept it. She instead got down the bus with that person and followed him and called the police and the police did come to the spot and caught him. Just think if she had thought not to react, what would have happened. Ofcourse the situation would have ended there. But the same situation would have happened to someone else. The very same person could get an opportunity to abuse someone else. So this is what i wish to ask everyone to do. Don't sit and cry instead let the fire in you become your voice. 

Even today's newspaper had a news wherein a girl has lodged a complaint against those responsible for causing her to fall from the bus. The mishap happened as the bus didn't have a door which is against the rules. So she have decided to move against the bus crew. If she kept her voice into herself, another day this situation will repeat in someone else's life as well. 

We often hear a news, which says a girl had been sexually abused for the past 10 years or more. Why such a long period?? Why didn't the girl raised her voice after the 1st instance itself? Why she kept her voice for 10 years to complete? Obviously the answer would he fear. The fear that enslaved her not to react. But what did she get in return. A long 10 years of suffering. If she had that strength to face the situation by raising the voice without thinking about the repercussions her future would have been something different. This is the same case even in case of several domestic violence as well. 

By spotting the news wherein a girl is involved i don't wish to make this a girl oriented issue because its not so. There are several instances wherein several underprivileged sections of the society had to face such cases of abuse. Caste oriented abuse, or even the abuse faced by the poor people in the hands of rich ones. In all these cases the victims are afraid to raise their voice. 

So I have only one thing to say. Be brave and raise your voice. Lets face the situation and make your future bright. Only the brave had their names in the books. Others are often left unnoticed. So lets not become the second category. Raise your voice against the injustices going around you
