Oh! What do I have to say about the city that lets you experience summer to winter, all seasons in a single day!
I went to Bengaluru to pursue my career and little did I know that it would become my "second home". This city gives us warmth we need to get through everything. Life sometimes was fully messed up but the garden city never failed to remind me to BREATHE. What a beautiful city it is, filled with people having most beautiful hearts <3
I spent most important years of my career in Bengaluru and the city surely made those years the best ones. I met the best people here. Also, Bengaluru has the best fast food. You must try SMV's Cheese maggie (VV Puram), Rava Dosa at Cool Corner (Basavangudi), Bangarpet Pani Puri, mini idlis at the food street, white sauce pasta at twistix (VV Puram), the 99 varieties of Dosa, Brahmin's idli (Heaven), Dose at Vidyarthi Bhawan and the list goes on.
Although everyone complains about traffic, we have metro in the city which helps us save a lot of time and travel to different areas. Every mile is worth it.
Another interesting thing about the city are the gardens. The city is filled with so many gardens and parks. On sundays many dog owners get their dogs to cubbon park early in the morning. Oh, what an incredible experience it is for dog lovers!! We get to meet so many ‘pawsome' dogs :')
This city is gonna love you and NOT leave you alone. Its a beautiful place, fills your heart with warmth, freshens your mind, fuels your dreams and gives you courage to pursue all of them. Silicon valley to Garden City, the nick names say it all !! The people here never treat you as an outsider, they welcome you with all their heart.
I made my own little family in hostel. All my roommates were from different places belonging to different religions with different cultures. We met as strangers and ended up being family to one another. That is yet another beautiful part of my life. I will always cherish the bonds I made with these people. They made the life in the busy city much more safe and comfortable.
Today I am physically at a different place but mentally always in Bengaluru. I really wish life had a rewind and pause button to relive those years.
Cheers Beautiful City ❤
Love,
Sidhi Chopra
