“A war within, never ends….
An auto driver found a bag belongs to his last customer is full of cash…
The War :
Did I mentioned that auto driver is poor(or do I need to mention that)?…now its time for classic age old moral war..
Take a pause :
We all know this situation very well and we know what is the right thing to do…but the choice the driver took is not that easy to guess always..
Imagine that bag in the auto is ours and your brain and heart starts working together…
We will prepare assumptions …we recollect the surroundings, scrutinize situations and judge the people... we investigate…
We judge the auto driver's character by his behavior, by his manner, by his appearance, by his social background and his status(rich/poor)… Once we confirmed our assumptions…
We become warriors…in other words WE WAGE A WAR.. for what is “rightfully ours”
Now Back to “the Poor auto driver…” :
He has his own war going inside…
He collect all the outcomes of each choice(keep it or give it back) he has and here comes the fascinating complexity of morality ;
He compare his choices based on his behavior , manner he showed to that customer.. his social background and of course the status…he is using the same tools… just like the owner of cash..
My point here is the deciding factors/tools of both wars(waged by customer and fought by driver) is same…
In fact; for an even bigger surprise,
Behavior, manner, social background and status these are, with different names ,the reasons for any war.. only the victim is different (a country, a man, a ritual or social evil)..
The assumptions we have on a person or nation makes them friendly or hostile… a Friend or a Foe
The enemy is not always before you ,he is inside you..
Even a real enemy is before your eyes, the war is always a choice….and thus going to war never make a man wise or imbecile..
I think the purpose of war is only winning and hence it is not meant for physical world to see or use…
War only serves its purpose when it is on the right enemy; that is one's own self and is only meant to fought within so one can always win(him/herself)…
“One must elevate himself by his own mind ,not to degrade himself by it…his own mind, can be his friend and can be his enemy too" - Bhagavad Gita.
For those who are bravely fighting the war within to bring out the better person…
