Hello everyone, here I am back with yet another easy home-made Italian recipe which is always everybody's favorite. PIZZAAAAAAAA. Mouth watering right?
So this recipes doesn't include any complicated procedures or hard-to-find ingredients. And it will taste exactly like the European/Italian pan base pizzas and tastes much tastier than you can ever imagine. My husband ,every time he eats it, he feels like he is in some other country and I obviously like to see his reaction because it really make me happy when he loves what I prepare.
So let's begin with our home-made tasty Italian Pizza.
Maida - 1 cup
semolina -½ cup (optional)
Olive oil - 1 teaspoon
Oregano - 1 teaspoon
Pinch of salt
curd - 2 tablespoon
sugar - ½ teaspoon
Procedure
Mix all these above mentioned ingredients and knead the dough thoroughly and close it and keep aside for 15-30 mins.
Ingredients for Pizza Sauce
tomatoes - 3 to 4 pieces
Sugar - ½ tablespoon
salt - ½ teaspoon
red chili powder - ½ teaspoon
Oregano - ½ tablespoon
Tomato sauce - 1 tablespoon
Procedure
Boil the tomatoes in pressure cooker. After 3-4 whistles , remove the tomatoes outside, separate the skin and tomatoes. In a mixer, add tomatoes, oregano, sugar, salt and grind to puree. Now transfer it to container and boil it. Add red chili powder and tomatoes, boil it for 5 to 8 mins or till it reduces to paste like consistency.
Making of Pizza
Toppings
capsicum, onion, tomatoes, corn etc
Tip - fry them slightly in olive oil before use
Cheddar cheese - ½ cup or as much as necessary
Assembly
Prepare a roti out of the dough but slightly thick and as big as you want, then transfer it to the tawa and cook completely.
Now apply the pizza sauce on the roti . Spreadsome cheese on the sauce then add the veggies and add some more cheese.
On the stove, preheat the tawa by closing a lid creating a small instant oven on the stove. After pre-heating for sometime, transfer the pizza and cook for 10-15 mins and your pizza is ready.
Tips
To avoid burning of the base add a layer of semolina below the base. So that semolina is turned into black but not pizza base.
For margherita pizza, add pudina leaves (slightly cooked) and tomatoes and more layer of cheese.
For healthy pizza, you can also shallow fry brinjal or veggies of your choice and add it to your pizzas.
