I had started meditation with the desire to know God, to understand reality, and make a friend out of my creator, but five year down the line I didn't see those same desires manifesting in my practice . i was still mumbling the prayer every night, but I had stopped feeling it . We make a pledge in our heart and try to connect with the source, with the help of Transmission, and we can then truly appreciate what we have received. The key here is to wait without knowing what we are actually waiting for .This attitude can be retained after meditation also.

As a result there is quite a significant effect on our lives since we, as human, are not used to welcoming and accepting such dramatic changes .
