Story time. I don't know whether it was my misconception or was it a real conception of my eyes.

A year back when I went out with few of my friends for having lunch, we were standing at one side of the road besides a restaurant. It was a remote area so didn't remember the exact location of the road. There was a huge line within the restaurant as some snacks were being sold out at 50% discount. I was also standing within the queue but there were still 8-10 people standing in front of me. On my right side I witnessed an old man in a clumsy and lewd appearance sitting on the footpath, just one meter away from me. It seemed that he hasn't had any food from past one month as he was looking quite thin (like pencil-thin), weak and starving. The poor man was begging for some alms and food. On his mat where he was sitting there was also a bag stuffed with some of his belongings. The bag was big and looking quite heavy. 

In a fit of some deep emotions, I went to him and offered him 50 rupees. He took the money from me very gently and slowly as his hands were shivering and gave me some blessings at the same time. When he looked upon my eyes, there was something to which I felt attracted towards. His eyes were filled with pain and agony. I was feeling connected to him. 

I went back to my queue which was just one meter away from the old man's place. I also wished to buy him some snacks as well. The moment I joined the queue and turned my head towards that old man, no one was sitting there. Not even the mat on which he was sitting and the bag which seemed quite heavy were there. It just took me 4-5 seconds to reach to my queue and within seconds everything vanished from my sight. I can bet if I was in that old man's place it would be difficult for me as well to crimp the mat and amass all the stuffs in 4-5 seconds and get away with that. It was quite a difficult job for such an old man who was starving to death to collect all the stuffs and disappear within the glimpse of the eyes.

Do not know who was that. Did I meet someone who was not a human being? This question remains at standstill since then.
