Beets are an essential vegetable for Russians. It have been used in Russian cuisine since ancient times. Whether in soup or salad, rice or juice, they love this vegetable. The benefits of beetroot are well understood, but these days it is used all over the world and even in Nepal. It is considered a miracle vegetable all over the world and is very beneficial for health. It is believed that the use of turnips has spread all over the world via Egypt, France, Turkey, Germany, America and India. These days, almost every country uses this vegetable. It is used in nutrition, but also in food, paints and medicines. It can be used anywhere from raw to heavy processing. There are many types of beets around the world, many distinguished by their color( yellow, white, pink or dark purple), but they all share the same health benefits and flavor. The color of this dish is appetizing.
Vegetables that are nutritious and low in calories, vegetables that help control blood pressure, they can improve digestive health, they can support brain health, they have anti cancer properties, helpful, delicious and can be included in your diet. It is said to be a handy vegetable, but it is a healthy vegetable anyway. The dark purple roots of the beet are usually boiled, roasted, eaten raw, alone or mixed with vegetables in salad. The green leafy part of the beet is also edible. Young leaves can be eaten raw in salad. Mature leaves are often boiled or dried. Taste and texture like spinach. It can be roasted, boiled and peeled and eaten as a hot snack. Beetroot cucumbers are a popular traditional food in many countries.
Beetroot (Beta Vulgaris) is a root vegetable also known as beets, table turnips, garden turnips, or simply turnips.
