I hope you guys do well and staying healthy. This blog is again about ponniyin selvan. We all know this story is a Fictional Story which runs around the chola dynasty. Aaditha karikalan, Arulmozhi Varman, Kundavai are the main characters in the novel and I am going to blog about the Real life characters of the main characters in the novel. It is said that Kundavai was one of the most powerful one in chola dynasty in history..! 

Aaditha Karikalan dies at age of 29 and we could understand the plot happens between them at a very young age..! and In the novel, many fictional characters were added.

Vanthiyadevan was not a ficitonal character and yes, In reality he was married to Kundavai.

Aaditha karikalan was shown as an (love) heart broken youngster in the movie but in reality he had a wife and a son between them. Basically  he was born in today's madurai ( Pandya's place which was is in their control ). he was a great warrior and has a great valor. he killed big king of pandya at their place and some disciples of pandya killed him at age of 29. The mystery in death was unveiled by Raja raja Cholan and found out at that he was backstabbed by the 3 people who are in goverment positions ( jobs ) in chola kingdom ( pandya's disciples ).

Raja Raja Cholan was brought by his sister Kundavai and he was born in Tanjavur and brought him up like as if he is going to be the next king even though he had brother who is crowned prince. Kundavai is one of the power center of the chola dynasty. she was not in interested in marriage but history showed he was married to king vanthiyadevan and never wanted to be queen there but wanted to be princess of Chola Dynasty and Even Rajendra Chola was brought up by Kundavai and she seemed to be Godmother of him. Kundavai seemed to have built a lot of temples and made lot of donations who never wanted to be a sole powerhouse.

Arulmozhi Varaman was completely reared by Kundavai and completely vowed his success to his sister Kundavai. He mentioned Kundavai's name in all the stone scriptures and even not his wife..!
