Dear friends, I am going to reveal a horrifying true story which was experienced by me. Before giving you'll this piece of truly scary ride, let me introduce myself, hi all iam from a middle class family born and brought up in South Mumbai locality of an Indian state  It was on Wednesday in mid actober 2008 sharp at 12.36 in the mid afternoon that I got a very excited and unexpected call from Yemen Airways office in Mumbai, I was not expecting it though I had applied for the accountant position that appeared in a classified column of a reputed tabloid. However I gathered the confidence to speak to the lady who was informing that I was shortlisted and have to attend the interview. The interview was scheduled for Saturday at 11 am. I rushed to get all my documents settled for the interview and finally the day arrived and attended the interview, to my surprise I was hired immediately and was given the details of salary package and other benefits. The secretary of station manager congratulated me and politely gave me the pathologist address to complete my medical formalities, she than requested for my passport which I willingly submitted. It was a dream job for me and I ran straight to my mom to give her the good news. I was hired because of my previous job experience as accountant with Saudi Arabian Airlines catering division. 2 days before the departure I was called again in Yemen Airways office and my visa stamped passport along with the air ticket was handed over to me with a piece of advice to carry warm cloths along as Sanaa in Yemen is the coldest place in the gulf region. Finally took the morning flight in the last week of October to Sanaa the commercial capital of Yemen. Day 1 the Director General of Accounts Mr. Kawi called me for a casual introduction to the department staff and explained me the need to hire me on the position, all was sorted out with quick reply from my side, but the live action was to be performed, and by the grace of Almighty I was handling all the functions of accounts and reporting with ease. Initial I was accommodated in a 3 star hotel till I was able to get a rented apartment for myself and within a week with the help of my Indian and Pakistani colleagues I landed up with a reasonably good 2bhk flat within the range of allowance given in my salary package. Sanaa is chilling cold, air-condition and refrigerator was a no no and fruits remained fresh for days without refrigerator. I started enjoying my work from day one and started exploring Sanaa, which is the oldest city of Yemen. Food was mouth watering from shawarma to shawaya to mendi in meat and baklwawa and masoob in sweets. I got acquainted to the lifestyle of Yemeni people who are such generous, loving and caring people.my office timings were 8am to 3pm with1 hour prayer and lunch break. I use to relax at my apartment after leaving the office till 5pm and perform my daily prayer in the house itself and move out with my friends to enjoy the evening. I befriended a paan wala (betel and nut shop owner) who was from Hyderabad India and was working as pathologist in a nearby hospital and even had a side business of betel leave and nuts. I use to in spare time in evening use to sit down in his shop chatting about India and many unknown things obout Yemen. One fine day after having my dinner I headed towards my house, my flat was on the 2nd floor of the apartment it was around 10.30 in the night, I entered the flat  went to my room closed the door and got to the bed. In the mid night hours around 2.30 _ 3.00 am I heard something very horrifying a women singing lullaby to a infant baby crying constantly in Arabic language and I was fast awake as the voice was coming from within my flat and next room, however I ignored it and try to sleep in ignorance, but could not sleep and started praying the whole night, the women voice was heard till 3.30 am but I continued my prayer till the morning prayer calls (azaan) were heard around 5.30am . I prayed the whole night and next morning went with heavy eyes and headache to the office. It just spoiled by day. The next night I experienced the same thing and was horrified, the worse thing was still waiting to happen. One night I was forced to attend nature's call, I slowly came out of room, as just as I opened my rooms door to go to the washroom the lullaby stopped, I ran to the washroom in hurry and sat there for more than 30 minutes, as I was literally scared to come out, but I gathered guts and slowly open the washroom door and peeped out to see that I was not expecting, the door of the room next to my room was opened, and quickly recalled that the landlord said to me that the door is locked as he had misplaced the key of the room and will give a copy of the key soon.,i did not came out of the washroom until dawn. It went like this every night and I got use to it and started concentrating on my job.One fine night as I was fast asleep I again heard some noice of small children's running on the next floor above me and got disturbed and complain about it to the land lord the next day, he told me that the building is  under construction and the 3ed floor will be ready in 15 to 20 days time and informed me that one labour is doing night shift to earn extra money and I was a bit relieved thinking the noice was not that of children running around but was that of the worker doing night shift. The same week I heard huge banging on the 3rd floor and my ceiling fan came shuttering down, it was so harsh that I went with my torch to get a grip on the worker and fire him like something, I went angry head and moved with the torch to trace the worker, but I was literally fainted to find no one ther,i came running to my room, locked it and went to sleep to get up the next morning with a mild fever and severe headache. I contacted the land lard and told him what happened the previous night, and to my shock he revealed to me that the worker had not come to work from past 2 days as he was not well. That day I went to the paan shop after leaving from office. Luckily my friend had just came from the pathology and was sitting on the counter of his shop, he offered me tea and snacks and we started talking, I rendered my experience of living in my flat l, he asked me where is your apartment, I gave him the address and his face turned blue, he told me move out of the house immediately. He accompanied me to remove my belongings, as I was telling him that where will I check in if I leave this flat, he told me to stay with him till I get a good one which he will help me to get it. That night my friend informed me that the building I was staying in was haunted, and couple of years back a complete family committed suicide and thereafter things were not good in that vicinity and the ground was once used to persecute criminals by beheading them as punishment. This is true incident which I experienced and even today I feel the chilling sensation of those days when ever iam alone in my room. Please follow my next scary experience in Saudi Arabia. Take care
