A camel herder lived in a community amid a stunning desert. He owned a camel herd. The camel herder was a good man who took excellent care of the animals. There was a particularly attractive camel in the herd that stood out from the others thanks to a crimson mark on his head. He was also his master's favourite.
The inhabitants of the community loved the red-headed camel a lot. He was known as "The Camel with the Red Head."
The village was close to a city. The camel used to travel through that city every day on his way home from the office with his camels. The vibrant city's fast-moving, colourful automobiles, spacious streets, and tall buildings captivated the camel with the red head every time he saw them. When they finally made it home one evening after travelling there, the camel was once more excited to see the vibrant, colourful city lights.
What a beautiful and interesting place. From here, the city appears to be so lovely. The camel thought, "How nice it would be if I went to the city and saw it by myself.
One Day when the camel herder was passing by the city with the camels, the camel with red head escaped from there and reached the city. He entered the city with great excitement. The city was crowded with lots of people and there were vehicles on the road everywhere. The atmosphere there was noisy, filthy and smoky. The camel who lived in the peaceful climate of the desert got so confused and scared to see all this.He remained standing in a corner. Some people saw him, they caught the camel and one of them gifted the camel to his friend who was a stable owner.
The stable contained all of the horses. There, the camel felt very alone. He really missed his friends.
The camel's new owner fed him hay and dry grains every day, which he detested. The delectable dates, oats, and wheat that his former owner used to feed him in the desert were missed.
Every time he walked, he missed the desert's sandy, soft terrain.
The camel struggled to get used to his new existence. He missed every single aspect of his former existence.
For leaving the wilderness and travelling to the city, he cursed himself. He was constantly down and depressed. The camel with the red head stopped eating completely and became so lazy that he couldn't stop weeping.
Thank goodness, a man did show up one day to meet the stable owner. That man was a native of the same community where the camel formerly resided.
The red mark on the camel's head helped the locals identify him.''Oh! That is my friend's camel, the one with the red head.
He questioned the stable owner, "How did you find him?"
The stable owner explained how he came to own the camel and informed him that the animal was no longer necessary for him and that he no longer desired to maintain him.The owner of the stable told his guest, "You can take the camel to his master; he is not happy here.
The man approached the camel and stroked its head. The camel grunted gleefully at seeing the man from his village.
The camel's owner's home hamlet was visited by the villager while riding the camel. The camel owner was overjoyed to recover his missing animal.
The camel was overjoyed and pleased to resume his previous way of life. Despite going through a difficult time in his life, he discovered an important lesson: “All that Glitters is Not Gold.”
