Shilpa introduced Aastha to designers like Manish Malhotra, Ritu Kumar, and Wendell Rodricks, among others, who helped shape the young girl’s talent into a true profession. And now as an award-winning stylist for Bollywood stars like Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor, her career has only flourished from there!
Anaita Shroff Adajania
If you're looking for a celebrity stylist that will have your favorite actor looking their best, then look no further than Anaita Shroff Adajania. The fashion director of Vogue India has styled everyone from Hrithik Roshan to Katrina Kaif in her career. Her most recent work includes designing outfits for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Guzaarish, Zayed Khan in Ready and Sonam Kapoor in Neerja.
The story behind her success is one of hard work and determination. After dropping out of college because she wanted more independence and freedom, Anaita was struggling with what to do with her life when she met photographer Patrick Demarchelier at an event. They became friends, which led to him giving her a job assisting him on shoots. Through this job she gained experience which led to more opportunities until eventually she had made it as a world-renowned stylist.
Mohit Rai
Rai was born in Chandigarh, India. After living there for five years, he moved to Delhi where he attended a boarding school. He then went on to study psychology at Panjab University, but dropped out due to his lack of interest. From there, Rai proceeded to work as a freelance artist for three years before deciding that fashion design was his true calling.
He then pursued his dream by studying fashion design at Punjabi University in Patiala, Punjab. It was here that he learned about the designer duo Tarun Tahiliani and Manish Malhotra who would later become his mentors.
Priyanka Borkar

Priya Kaur is a hair stylist with over 20 years experience in London's fashion industry. Her work can be seen in magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar and Tatler to name just a few. She has styled for high profile clients like Nigella Lawson, Camilla Parker Bowles, Princess Diana, Isabella Blow, Saffron Burrows and Lauren Hutton to name but a few.
Her work spans editorial shoots to catwalk shows including Viktor & Rolf spring/summer 2017 show in Paris at the Palais de Chaillot last September where she worked alongside fellow British-Indian hairstylist Tim Howard-Spink.
Rhea Kapoor
Stylist to the stars, Rhea Kapoor, has made a name for herself by dressing some of Bollywood's biggest names. Her clothes are both glamorous and edgy, making her one of India's most well-known stylists.

Sanjana Batra
Batra was born in Delhi and grew up in Hong Kong. She had a very privileged upbringing, but that didn’t stop her from being a total tomboy. Batra loved to wear boy's clothes, play sports and ride dirt bikes. This rebellious streak has followed Batra into adulthood where she creates looks for some of India’s most famous Bollywood actresses.
Batra studied at Parsons School of Design in New York City before moving back to her native country India where she now works as a stylist in Mumbai.

Her dresses have been gracing red carpets since she first debuted at Lakme Fashion Week in 2001.

We need to create clothes that are comfortable so that women can wear them all day long, she says. Women want to feel sexy but still be able to move around.
