The main motive of the song is to develop kids' how to amount to something. Initially, the poem might describe a usual day for lace-up who were conventional workers back in the 18th century:

1, 2, buckle my shoes:-mean that the breadwinners are earning willing to work;

3, 4 shut the door – the workers are now in their office

5, 6, pick up sticks – getting their tools (wooden sticks were tools machines or Equipment to work)

7, 8, lay them straight – overhauling the stakes;

9, 10, a big fat hen;- kind of support you get a penny for your work and that which fills your stomach, Bonus and Token of Appreciation.

We all know the origin whereas my depiction comparatively of this Modern World

to become fastened with a buckle- to apply oneself with vigour — Start each new day with your full might
Three, four, shut the door: Close all your negative energy because you are in the field no one is competent enough
Five, six, pick up sticks: stick around to the matter what you say and abide in it
Seven, eight, lay them straight: Straight to point as what you stick around to what you say
Nine, ten, a big fat hen: whatever happens you just have one life, stand to the best of it and have all ample things to relish in this one life you got.

Each one has their lifestyle it did not begin with head to toe but with toe to head your shoes, slippers, boots what so ever says lots about you, so groom from down to up.
